Les pusimos una batería de ejercicios sobre dibujo que nosotros hicimos a la par. Más de acción el primer día, y más de reflexión el segundo.
Draw drawing drawn is the name of the workshop we teach Iván San Martín and me on days 27 and 28 February to pupils of illustration courses of the Art School of Valladolid. We put a battery drawing exercises we did at a time. More action on the first day and the second reflection.

El segundo día calentamos con retratos de cuerpos enteros, chico y chica, e inmediatamente después una sorpresiva versión desnuda (los míos fueron regalados a los respectivos modelos). Luego hablamos de como nos hemos enfrentado a los trabajos en el mundo profesional; y por último, el ejercicio gordo era versionar, en un proyecto a elección del asistente, la imagen de los salvajes que adornan la fachada de San Gregorio, sede del museo de escultura. Tenían que pensar en el cliente, en el medio, en los objetivos y en la estética.
The second day we heat with portraits of entire bodies, boy and girl bodies, and immediately after a surprise naked version (mine were gifted to the respective models). Then we talked about how we have been confronted with the work in the professional world; and finally, the fat exercise was versioning, a draft choice of the public, the image of the savages that adorn the facade of San Gregorio, seat of the museum of sculpture. They had to think about the customer, in the middle, objectives and aesthetics.

Se intentó que los asistentes nos contaran sus proyectos, que pudieran defenderlos y argumentarlos.

La verdad es que fue un taller divertido y espero que ameno para los asistentes. Personalmente les agradezco que nos escucharan y aguantaran nuestras batallitas y discursos; y a la gente de la Escuela que nos invitara a ofrecer este taller. Las fotos son de la Escuela.
